Hey you.
Ugh. My speakers are being stupid. How am I supposed to do math homework without show tunes?

Should I get out of bed and do work?

Not unless its my math homework you plan on doing. Otherwise, stay in bed.

Yes, I am out. I can probably go on during the week and say my lines, but no singing or dancing.
I can't climb Kilimanjaro in June either, and never will be able. I've just forked out 960 euro for half of that trip.
But I'm getting better, at least. Back in on Thursday for more xrays.

Oh Linnie! That SUCKS! I know how excited about the trip you were!
And no singing? Dancing? For how long?
Broadway Legend Joined: 6/20/06
What happened to Linnie?!
Broadway Legend Joined: 11/2/05
Wow - I obviously missed something. I though DGG meant 'out of the closet'. I do hope Linnie is ok!

He's been "out" for a while, DG!
Broadway Legend Joined: 11/2/05
DGG - I didn't know he had come out to his family and friends.

Ha, I had the other type of out last year, DG.
I collapsed backstage during the first act on the opening night of 'Crazy for You' last night and was rushed to hospital, where I stayed overnight. My lung was punctured, and it partially collapsed.

So, no flying, no climbing mountains, singing, dancing, playing clarinet (bye-bye grade 6 next month), or most other enjoyable activities.
I'm going to see the show tonight, and visit backstage. Everyone's been texting and calling to see how I am, which was really nice. I'll be back on tomorrow or the next day, just speaking my lines, no movement or vocals.

For how long? No flying or clarinet? Ever? Do they realize that clarinet and singing and dancing is life? Cheesus. I'm sorry love.

Hey, iluv.
A punctured lung?!?!? Good grief. Glad you're still with us - and sorry for the altered reality you face.

Luckily, I don't have to ALWAYS be like this. I'll be able to go back to the clarinet (and sax, of course), just not for a few weeks, maybe a bit more. Which means I'll have to skip exams, that's all. I may have to pull out of that singing competition I was planning to do Being Alive in in May.
But if I'm 100% again in a few months, it'll all be worth it.

Thank God not forever, right? Imagine ever being able to again.
I'm sure you'll be fine soon. And maybe they'll let you postpone your exams. Its worth a try, right?

::breaks out into WHAT I DID FOR LOVE::
But yea, you'll be back up in no time!
