i've been to disneyland but not disney world. i want to take my kids down there, but by the time we can afford it, my kids'll be grown.
I love California, but I'm an East Coast boy all the way.
I'm doing the weirdest project right now. Forcing me to do creative things is never a good idea.

I'm making a scrapbook of God's career inspired by reviews and public reaction to the events of Britney Spears's career to emphasize how easy it is for anyone to be packaged, dehumanized, and elevated to an impossibly high pedestal, which leads to their inevitable failure and fall.
I can't decide if it's blasphemous or fierce. Or both. I suppose I have to finish it first.

Wow.
That is so cool! I want to see it when its done! What class is it for?
Hahah it's for "The History of Disbelief," my class on atheism. It's supposed to be a creative project "on the nature of the gods," so initially I wrote a eulogy for God, but that just seemed too boring. This is a much better way to incorporate the readings we did this semester, because I'm re-writing Britney's reviews as if they were written by Hume or Dostoevsky or Cicero. It should be VERY interesting.

That is a kick-ass project. Good luck with it!
I'm off to pick up my prom dress. Here's a conversation I had with my date last night:
Him: What color is your dress?
Me: Ivory with a black lace sash.
Him: So...if I quote you and tell the tux people that, they'll know what it means even though I don't?
Boys are silly.

We bought Shia a big play pen today, and we don't think he likes it. All he does is whine. I hope it doesn't take him too long to get used to it.
The project sounds great, Scott!
Isn't ivory a little too wedding dressy?
I'm so excited to sell my books back. Yay booze money!
Unfortunately, the book that's going to net me the most is the one I need for my last final... hrm.

I tried selling my Diatonic Harmony book, which probably would have gotten me $60, but they've ordered a new edition and told me it was worthless. Now I'm going to sell it on amazon for $9. My stage makeup book got me $67, though
Unfortunately, most of my books are, you know, actual BOOKS, not textbooks, so I get 2 or 3 bucks for each of them. (John Stuart Mill, love him though I do, is NOT making me much bank right now.) However, my two big journalism books are textbook textbooks, so I'll make like fifty or sixty bucks off them. C'est la vie.
*the cows bring ice cream*
ugh sooo nervous about friday
Harris, you'll be fine. Just don't mention the cows. Or spell.

We watched CLOVERFIELD tonight.
Freakin' fantastic! I give it a perfect ten.
Dear God, please let me sleep! It's been two days since I got some shuteye. I know I once said that I'll sleep when I'm dead, but this is ridiculous.

This dress isn't weddingey at all, Nitsy.
I got back about 20 bucks a book. Almost all of my books were text books though. How much did you have to pay for them initially if you're getting 60 bucks back?

Um, I think my makeup book cost somewhere around $80. I think. It may have been more!
