I've been good. Until this became an ESL thread, that is.
mauri, I went to see the Rent tour last night.
It was pretty damn impressive. Definitely a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

Nada, y usted?
Kc, what'd you think of Christine?
Kasie: I'm glad your experience with the RENT tour went well. Ours did not.
None of our actors could sing. Or dance. I dunno what happened, but the entire thing sucked.

Ok, Taz. I'll stick to the English.
Kas, I know! I was pleasantly surprised, too.
I went bumper carting yesterday, and today, I feel like I've been in a real fender-bender.
Her voice was spectacular. I met her afterwards. She was pretty cool.
Heinz as Roger was AMAZING. He's gorgeous! and a nice guy.
Sorry to hear that nits, it must have been a completely different cast.

She's tiny! She's also got a bull nose piercing. That's pretty fierce.
I love Rent live. I saw it on Bway 3 times.

I take it Heinz learned how to control his voice? He definitely needed some work when I saw him months ago.

My dad and I played the lottery for tix...we didn't win. We were stuck outside the Nederlander Theatre in the rain...
Mauri, I keep forgetting it's you, the av is throwing me off!
Yeah, isn't it good taz?
mauri, there were no problems that I could see. Definitely not as good as Adam...but I got chills when he sang Your Eyes.
Robs, I know. She was pretty much the SH*T.

Ha, Robs. You'll get used to it.
I remember we saw someone named Arianna as Mimi and a guy whose name sounded like Yoko Ono as Angel.
They were the worst in the cast. I dunno where our playbills went.

I first met her drunk.
My parents met her before me (in Miami) so I somehow, in my drunken state, got her to connect the two.
I wish I remember that night...prior to being molested in the back seat of my friend's car.

I've seen RENT three times. 2 on tour, 1 on Broadway. The first tour and Broadway were total disaster, which is why I was so surprised when this latest tour turned out the way it did. With the exception of the guy who played Angel. How was he, Kas?
He pretty much stole the show, IMO. They were all pretty good, but he was extremely impressive. He had some pretty big shoes to fill, but he had the right amount of energy for Angel and his voice was spot on.
Anyway, what is everyone up to today?

See, the thing was, I wasn't.
We got my friend Lauren drunk for the first time. Well, 'drunk' is an understatement. She was WASTED. So she couldn't control her hands...
I love NEWSIES!!!!
Me too! And I've wanted it forever, but it's so freakin' expensive. I need a really good reason to spend $20 on a 10 year old movie, and well, a birthday is a pretty good reason.
ETA: Just kidding. It's 16 years old. It should be in the bargain box at Walmart, but no, it's not...
