I'm back in Hartford...not too happy about it!
Yeah, Kas. He was standing right next to me. Like had I moved, I would have run into him.
I finally ate Pinkberry today, it was pretty amazing. My dad went back - he hadn't eaten any - and got the coffee one and hated it!

Hiya, Robs. Glad you're home safe. How was my beautiful city?

MYYY gorgeous amazing city was just perfect!
Pinkberryyyy. The coffee actually isn't bad, depending on how you use it. Even the people who work there tell me not to get it on its own, but swirled with original and with chocolate chips, it's delish. Green tea, on the other hand... not a fan.

And how was In the Heights? I read that you scored some pretty sweet seats next to a semi-famous person.

I'm not a fan of green tea period, so I wouldn't get it!
I really don't feel like unpacking my bad and hanging all my new clothes and shiat...just not up for it. I need to shower...

IN THE HEIGHTS was great! I loved the music, except for a couple songs. Some people could NOT sing...well, only one guy, the guy who played Kevin. The dancing was amazing. The set was cool. Lighting, great. But the book...ughhh....there was like no substance. I feel like I wasn't really following a show but just like a cabaret with dancing and songs. I mean, I got the story. But there was hardly and progression. It was just lacking. I loved the whole concept and the all the visuals!

Did the family like it?

They loved it!!
I loved it too...but you know...just those little things!
Saw CANDIDE with Daniel Reichard. I kind sorta maybe fell asleep in the second act. I looked at my program and the song we were on was Bon Voyage...I woke up and we were at the Finale It was just too long and I had to sleep on my sister's couch!
We took pictures of Shia tonight! I'll post them tomorrow, though.

LOL. It happens. I totally fell asleep at Phantom of the Opera. I was exhausted from traveling (we saw it on our first day in the city), and the theater was all dark and cozy...

POTO was my first Bway show...I was, um...like 10?! Maybe?! I cast the show afterwards. Me as Raoul and my dad was the Phantom. My mom was Christine. Yes, I was a momma's boy and still am and proud of it!!!
Best part of the trip. I'm leaving ITH, getting into the subway. I swipe my card, and you know how people exit through the same turnstiles. My roommate walks RIGHT INTO ME! We stopped and stared at eachother for a good 20 sec. I forgot to tell him I was leaving for the weekend. He was like..."What are you doing here?!?!"
It was hilarious. I mean...for such a populated city, it's a small world!

That's too funny! A similar thing happened to me and my mother when we were in Orlando last summer. She's a principal, and we ran into a family from her school at Epcot. Crazy how that happens.
I totally ran into a friend from NYU standing outside South Station in Boston this afternoon. Coincidences are so odd.

Yeah...but my roommate?! Hahaha, he doesn't leave the damn practice rooms. But yeah...my dad and sister walked right past him and my mom was like WTF?!?!?!?!

Yay, Nits! I look forward to seeing them.
Did you ask what he was doing in the city, Robs?
Yo.
