I never learned to play. Card games don't do much to hold my interest. Similarly, neither do essays. Stupid scholarship essays. Ruining my vacation.
We're going shopping today!
WEE!
Work is boring. I want food.

Here. My mom made brownies.
Mmmm. Jim Sturgess.

I could totally go for some brownies.
I'm still bored. And still hungry. Of course today would be the day that there aren't any meeting leftover platters to mooch off of. Diet Dr Pepper does not a meal make.

I'm in the process of uploading new photos and they'll be posted soon!
I was in a blah mood, so I skipped class and went to Pommes Frites. Now I'm going to order Chinese food and watch Gone With The Wind. Oh, college.
What's Pommes Frites?
Sounds fun scott. I really wish I could've missed class today, but I had to do a presentation. Ugh...so glad it's over.
Speaking of GONE WITH THE WIND...
The musical version opens here in London tonight (well, tomorrow night for you, as it is 1am here) and the buzz is really bad. The nicest thing I've heard is "train wreck."
I can't help but think of "Irreconcilable Differences" when I hear about it, deet.
Because of the child labor laws here, apparently Bonnie is just a tape recorded voice because the show is so long that all of the scenes with her occur after the legal time a child is allowed to work.
Oh, the stories I've heard...
Dear lord... I was kind of hoping it was good, but realistically, I can't imagine anyone didn't expect that, Deet.
Kasie, Pommes Frites is the best french fry place in the city. It's amazing.
We debated whether to see it tonight, but ultimately decided to go see Ralph Fiennes. Not so sure we made the right choice. Fiennes was terrific, but the play, GOD OF CARNAGE, wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. At least GWTW would have been a hoot.
Deet, you must share some of the local reviews with us!
Pommes Frites is a belgian fry store. They serve them with mayonaise. (gross)
I'm not really into tried foods, but I did taste them once and they were pretty good.
Eww, mayonnaise?
*gags*
yea, I didn't have the mayo.
There's a bunch of toppings you can choose from, but most are mayonaise based.
That's how they roll in Belgium, yo!
Mayonaisse-based and mayonaisse are VERY different things. I hate mayonaisse with every fiber of my being, but their pomegranate teriyaki mayo is amazing. The non-mayonaisse-based sauces are my favorites, though, notably the parmesan peppercorn sauce and the gross but wonderful cheddar cheese.
I don't care what kind of sauce it is, if there's even a DROP of mayo in it, I'm not going near it.
But the parmesan peppercorn one does sound good. I'll have to try it whenever I make it over there.
