I can tell you two who are! They graduated from Hartt!
Christine Dwyer...MAUREEN
Stephanie Spano...MAUREEN U/S and I think Ms Jefferson?
I wish Michael Arden would play Cioffi in the tour of Curtains. I doubt it, though.

Mornin' kids. My shoe broke on the way to work. I'm guessing that's not a good sign.

I saw that on FBook Mauri! :/ It's a Monday, what can I say!?
How was your weekend?

Short. I only did about half of the work I wanted to do. I did, however, finally sit down and read through I Love You Because. That was fun, but the book is terrible.
How was yours?
Dear god, Clay is on BWW tv. Prepare for the site to crash!

I know! I just saw that and was like, "Who is that ugly, ugly person? Oh, it's Clay."

Ugh, it's such a fun show, though! There's a couple songs I'd love to sing!
My Saturday was just amazing! Housing went better than planned, it was a gorgeous day. I spent the day with a prospect, we went to a party at night. Left right before the cops showed up. Talked to a special person and hung out with friends. Sunday was alright, laid back.
But agreed, to short! Ballet was boring this morning. We finished presenting papers and then danced for like half an hour.
Oh and I had to push my departure from HFD to NYC a couple hours. And by a couple, I mean like 14 hrs ahead.
More time in the city is always a good thing.

What kind of paper would you write in a dance class?
And I read that about NYC. That sucks, but at least you still get to go. I would give anything to be in the city.

It's actually less time. I didn't really word that correctly. Instead of leaving Thursday after class...I leave Friday in the morning. :/
Well, we had to research a dancer/choreographer he assigned. They all helped shape music theatre dance and dance in general. I had Sergei Diaghilev. Did nothing for mt but did lots for the ballet world!
agreed, i'd love to be able to go to NYC at all
Oh, in that case:
But at least you get to go and see ITH!
Rob, you should rent The Red Shoes. It's a classic movie about ballet.

I also told you guys about the tickets I got, right?! After StubHub f*cked up?

I think I'm going to try to save some money for a weekend trip to NYC this fall. With [tos] opening and a naked Harry Potter, I think I have to get my butt to the city.

I've always wanted to see The Red Shoes. My friend has it and I always suggest we watch it, but she never wants to.
I love a good ballet, or movie about ballet. Center Stage anyone?

Oh, Center Stage. Such a guilty pleasure. And apparently they're making another one.

I hope to God they don't kill it!
An American In Paris has one of the best ballets ever put on film (IMO). Gene Kelley was the shiznit.

Ok. Clay Aiken is seriously starting to creep me out. It's worse than the eye.

Someone mentioned that movie. Ralph (our ballet teacher) mentioned it also. Some people mentioned Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and a couple others. I need to rent these...
