your protagonist has to have an obstacle. That doesn't mean you have to make the tone glum and dark. It's all about the attitude of your characters.
What do you want to say Austin? Decide on that first and build your story around the theme.

I got a phone call last night. They acceptance letter was an accident. That's not to say I won't get in, but I've yet to have my audition, and apparently they don't tell you if you got in or not until then.
Stupid addmissions staff. I was pissed.
Are you from CT, though?

Oh, well best of luck, then. That's unusual that they'd send out an acceptance letter by accident.
I am from CT. I grew up in South Windsor, went to middle school in West Hartford, and high school in Hartford.

Yeah, my folks still live in South Windsor. My Dad's office is in Bloomfield, and my Mom works in Hartford.
I actually took two classes at U of H during my senior year of high school.

I think Colbert is probably more entertaining with this music playing over his moving lips than actually hearing what he's saying.
