I've been a fan for a while now.
So did you ever get your story going?

Yeah. Ivan and I worked on it for about 2 hours tonight. It looks like we'll have to scrap/change what we already have, but it'll be for the better.
I'm proud of what we have. It's a good one!

Posted: 1/18/08 at 2:53amFixing one problem causes a few more, but that's okay. It's turning out really well. I hope to have an outline finished in a week or so.

Posted: 1/18/08 at 3:03amThere were some good movies on Disney Channel this week. I watched Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off on Tuesday. I've always loved that movie.

Good morning Avs.
Austin, it's always the way: you change/fix one thing, and it dominoes throughout the whole work. But it almost always results in a better, stronger piece.
Well, I'm off to the airport. Have a great weekend!

Good morning, lovies!
2 hour delay today, so I'm off in a bit to take (read: be eaten alive by) that pre. calc. exam.

Posted: 1/18/08 at 12:22pmToo bad I missed GMA with David Hyde Pierce and Debra Monk. I should've seen it on TV, but I slept through it because I was up all night. Now I'm really sad.

My avatar makes me hungry.
I woke up at 10:30, that's 2 and a half hours later than I usually do.

Wow.
I've never done so horribly on a test, ever.
Just wow.

Dead thread much?

Posted: 1/18/08 at 5:14pmGigi, it's calculus. if you put that test in front of me I would hand it back blank. It's hard stuff--at least you made a good run at it and I'm sure you did decently. It's just math anyway.

Yay, I'm finished with work and make my triumphant return to New York tomorrow! I'm going shopping to celebrate.
And DGG, math is a useless skill. Just look at the smartest people you know. Are any of them pretty? I thought not! If math can't make them more attractive, why should a pretty person like you even bother with it at all?

Posted: 1/18/08 at 5:42pmLong division and equations were hard for me when I was in school. Poor me, I had to sit on the chair in math class for hours until I had free time on the computer.

#2921re: Is That You In Your Avatar Edition 15: Baby, It's Cold Outside!
Posted: 1/18/08 at 6:03pmI'll be ok. I read a recap earlier soon after it was over. It seemed like it was a hell of a try, I would have/will love to see it, hopefully it gets rebroadcasted.

Posted: 1/18/08 at 6:36pmHey, I don't think I did too fantastically on my screenwriting final either. When we got the papers I think we all kind of collectively went, "Okay, what the hell is this 'squiggy' thing she's asking about? How am I supposed to know the same of agencies that can get me TV writing jobs? Why would I want to have more than one spec script, let alone know how many I SHOULD have?!" I probably got a B if I was really really lucky.

You're supposed to have at least 3 spec scripts, in at least 3 different genres, before even thinking about inquiring from a Hollywood studio.
I wish I was in your class. I would've kicked. butt.
