No! I don't like spicy food. My guacamole is pretty simple. Just avocadoes, salt, and lime. I may add medium salsa to give it a kick, though.

My cousin makes guacamole, and is so anal about the whole thing. He spends what seems like hours dicing every ingredient and then adds jalapeño con seeds.

It looks so good, but I can't eat it. The onions make me cry and the jalapeño burns my tongue. It LOOKS good. But it's deadly.

Other people add onions (blech) and garlic (not bad) and chili powder (world's most expensive spice, btw) and a bunch of other crap, but all that does is interfere with the taste of avocado. IMO.

I dislike mixing savory and sweet foods, like cranberry sauce on turkey. no.

well sweet and salty is ok for me.

But its when you mix sweet things and meat. I know you guys don't eat meat, so you don't have this problem. But lambchops with peaches, mango salsa on chicken, no no no.

sweet and salty things like: ice cream with cashews, pistachio ice cream, popcorn with melted chocolate... stuff like that.

Damn! Now I feel like a MorningStar breakfast patty sandwich with fresh guacamole, roasted red pepper hummus, Lorraine cheese, and alfalfa sprouts. Unfortunately, I have none of those things.
