I figured that debate was coming. It's the one roll that all great theatre actresses (and Tyne) have to play.
This should rage on until Patti wins the Tony.
You know POTO won the big prize but lost best score. People can't believe it lost that.
Of course we all know it didn't deserve the score award, but most casual fans can not fathom such a "mistake".

True dat. Although I do think POTO is one of the best directed musicals ever - Prince was a wizard with the material. Actually the best Lloyd Webber shows were the ones he helmed: EVITA and POTO.
And I'm not so sure LuPone is a shoo in, yet. There is likely some major competition coming in this spring.
