I am working as a "Patient Financial Service Representative" (biller) at a non-profit hospital. I have done billing before but not this detailed. Like I said, I just started so the stress and workload hasn't fully hit me yet but the people seem really nice and my manager kicks butt. The first thing she told me was, "I am not going to micro-manage you" and I wanted to kiss her. LOL!!! And they are actually TRAINING me. What a concept, huh? The other jobs I have had, they just ran through the program really quick and said "now do it." Plus, majority of the people have been there for YEARS so apparently something is right there. They just really seem like the genuinly (I know that is spelled wrong lol) care that I am there. Again, this may change eventually but right now, I am enjoying it.

That's awesome spidey...you and I were in much the same boat all year! My job is working out well too. I have become a rock star again - instead of the burn out I felt like all those months of 24 year olds looking at me like I was speaking Martian -- in a mere month...in short, 2008 is looking like a much better year here too!
It's good to be back.
