Maybe somebody can make us a copy. Last fall, I mailed some other poster (at my expense) a copy of Life From Lincoln Center's PASSION (which I just happened to have). I didn't expect anything in return, but she got me a ticket to CHICAGO when I was in the city the following month.

I think I just saw lightning. I'm staying in until I know it's safe.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Nothing. Hot and muggy here, a little haze but relatively clear sky, and nothing else. The view of downtown, however, is stunning. We really need to put in a south facing window.

BTW: My mom once also got attacked by a bat, Tink. They must have bad blood against strawberry blondes. We were driving (well, she was) and suddenly a bat flew inside the car and attached itself to her. It was quite frightening and exciting and comical at the same time.

It came up and landed on my leg, and so i swatted and started moving around, and kept swatting, and I guess it was scared so it just kept flying into me. It was quite a mess, lol.
