We don't go to the beach when it's not hot, I never said I was going to the beach. I never said it was hot either.
The county I'm in doesn't have beaches though. Not that I'm looking for one.

My mom makes me walk to work when she can't get me there. It's not terribly far (about 3 miles), but it's on a busy road.

Posted: 6/27/07 at 10:14amok, but i'm not in the city... i'm in the middle of nowhere. and a half hour usually means as many miles since everyone drives around 60... so it's probably a good 25 miles to get to work.

LA is worse. Usually when we go out there we stay in Westwood, near UCLA, and getting to downtown Los Angeles in time for a 6:00 dinner reservation can mean over 90 minutes of driving time because of the traffic. Getting back to our hotel after the performance takes approximately 15 minutes.
At least New York is consistently awful.

I'm ok. The police are taking statements right now. It's just harrowing. And he was just a kid too. I am seriously sad about this. I hate to think that things are so bad for someone that this is the only path they feel they have left.
But I didn't really want to get into a debate on suicide, there are other threads for that.
