Jaily, honey, I don't know how to tell you this, but no one paid anything to see that surgery. They couldn't give the seats away. What you saw up there in the gallery were projections.
That's not what the segment producers at the DiscoveryHealth channel said!!!!!!!
They lied in order to get your signature on the release forms.
And in Linnie's absence I will, just this once, let it be known that I have noticed we are now over half way through this thread.
Praise to LB, the patron saint of the lifeless.
Don't tell FOA, but Bannati (or whatever) is a bitch!
I hear that, bro.
I have a zillion cds in my itunes and I can't decide what I'm in the mood for. Hate that.
God, hasn't someone shot that bitch yet?
I mean, that's what they do to horses with broken legs...why not overblown overpraised marginally talented divas who don't do their jobs? :-P
The reviews won't come out until next week. The official ones, anyway.
And let's not go there - it's all been done to death and we don't want this thread to go the way of the now classic, BUT DELETED, thread of a week and a half ago.
Deet's right, but props to Jaily for raising a good point.
End of topic.
So I ended up playing Travis. It's an English band. Anyone here know/like them?
D2 - at this point I don't actually ever plan on signing in public, like ever, so I should be good there, lol. but I do hope to try singing lessons again in the future. Maybe I'll actually go this time!
chinese food for dinner, yum!

Yum!
I'm having Chicken w/ Broccoli
Hey Tazzy, I'm seeing Stone Sour again in August, woohoo. I see them on Friday, and then Adam in Rent on Saturday! Life is good.
I love Stone Sour! The first cd was a little too much like Slipknot, but they really came into their own on the new one.
I hope you enjoy!
I saw Slipknot in there hay day, and they were good. But seeing Stone Sour a few months ago, wow, I was blown away. SOOO good. I can't wait to see them again. It'll be at a smaller more intimate place, even better!
I like that crazy Foghat!!! Boy, they sure are hardcore!
I missed the whole Slipknot train. I think it was the masks that turned me off. They can rock though, no doubt.
*like in the conversation about the car show the other night, D2 is completely mystified. fascinated, but mystified*
Lol Jaily!
I agree Taz. The whole stage show aspect was lost on me, but I liked some of their earlier music (Wait and Bleed will always remain a favorite). I saw them at Tattoo the Earth w/ Sevendust, Sepultura, Slayer, and Metallica. It was such an awesome concert!
I can't handle that REO Speedwagon nonsense, though...honestly, the things you crazy kids listen to these days!
I just watched The Devil Wears Prada for the first time. It was awesome.
I never got into the whole heavy rock thing period. It just never appealed to me. I can listen to soft rock and rock-pop for hours and never get tired of it. I have to be in quite the mood to pull out my Audioslave and Trapt CDs.
Sevendust and Sepultura are 2 of my faves!
