I do - but I still go there occasionally. Bloomingdale's is on the east side.
I saw that post Polly. That's my girl!
Morning Deet.
Morning, Taz!
I so don't want to go to work today.
YOU HAVE TO!!!
I know, I know, I know. Don't yell at me, kid, the old man is hung.

Morning lovies! Everything OK? (Aimed at SM2, mostly..."itty bitty monkey?")
the old man is hung.
I always suspected as much Deet.
Good morning all!
Still not feeling great, but the early night's rest helped a little.
Off to the store in a minute to buy some stuff to make a big breakfast.
DGG- stagey just needs to go to sleep. before he gets spanked... then again he might like that.
Haven't you ever read AUNTIE MAME? It's a line from the book - in the first chapter Patrick describes his relationship with his father that way. Whenever he would say anything to him, he'd reply "Pipe down, kid, the old man is hung."
I have a headache. Stagey yelling at me like that reverberated. That's all I meant.
I can't sleep. I have to take my niece to her violin lesson in an hour.
sorry deeters, i've watched it but never read it
poor stagey- you can go to sleep after that right?
Morning, Tink!
Taz, I miss your old signature.
Stagey - give it a rest. Even a 20 minute nap can do wonders.
Morning Tink! Glad you're feeling better.
SM - drive carefully.
I'm a good driver! Does anyone remember when I totaled my car last year?
Polly, the book is a hoot - there is a lot of very funny stuff in it that is not in the play, movie or musical. It's a very quick, laugh out loud read.
Yes, Stagey, do be careful - and as Polly suggested get some rest this afternoon, at least.
I was listening to Leonard Cohen last night and felt compelled to quote him Deet. I'm gonna go back to my old one once we hit the next thread.
Which should be in about an hour and a half. Tink, you ready?
She's at the store.

Er, hello?
I have to run to the store, but hopefully you people don't chat that fast.
i hope she's back in time. or that linnie's still here either way
i'll have to see if i can find i copy of that book relatively cheaply
Er, Linnie, you've already said you are on borrowed time and might get kicked out of your Aunt's house any minute now.
Linnie!!! I'm so happy you could be here to start the new thread! yay!
Polly, you could try Amazon - they always have used copies for almost less than nothing. It really is a classic book.
