Oh, Tinkles, you always know how to pacify me.
I gotta be good at something!
*peeks in, not sure about re-entering*
It's looking really good for me going down to FL next month, yay!
Wanna take my parents with you, Tink?
We would be going to the same airport.
Today is my first day as an unemployed man, and I promised myself that this week I would spend at least an hour every day writing....and I actually did! I think I actually put in almost 2 hours today. I wrote my whole opening song/scene, which is about 5 pages. I'm proud of myself! Now I have a craving for felafel.
Akiva
I'm just kidding, Tink. I wouldn't do that to you - I like you, remember?
That's great, Akiva! I resent... I mean, I ADMIRE people with musical talent.
Ever read Freud, Stagey?
Is it anything like FAUST?
Not quite, but I'm sure Freud has a lot to say about why Faust made that bargain.
awww, D2! I feel so special!
I'm suddenly reminded of a poem I wrote back in high school:
If I made a pact with the devil,
I'd ask for fortune and fame.
In turn I'd sell him my soul
To have the world recognize my name.
I'll bet you hadn't reckoned on BWW at the time, Stagey. He's a sneaky one, that Nick Shadow.
I should start reading more books for fun.
I WANT MY SOUL BACK!!!
Soapy - Faust is an interesting read, but I'm not sure if it falls under the heading of "reading for fun."
See what I mean, Soapy? The mere mention of FAUST brought the thread to a screeching halt.
My apologies.
Accepted.
For the most part, to me the words fun and interesting are interchangeable. I just found thumbing though my sociology book "fun".
But no more mentioning of "The Book Which Must Not Be Named" I want my avs back. Talk people!
Hey soapy! How've you been?
WW, has been pretty boring, but very productive. What about yourself?
Eh not too bad. It's been one of the Sundays for me where I'm so bored, but don't want to do anything.
