I'm pretty sure I've figured out why German Boy is so distant.
He's a Vampire!
Yep, it's the only rational reason for him to be so shy and un-dateable. He won't talk to people because he knows that's like playing with his food. He doesn't want to get too close to a potential meal! He's keeping it a secret.
And he's got really nice, vampire-like teeth.

I'm reading Twelve right now. So far, it's okay, but the reviews haven't been that good.

I actually want to see 30 DAYS OF NIGHT. VAN HELSING sucks, but it's not because it's about vampires. It sucks because it's a stupid concept.
I think The Vampire Lestat would make an excellent movie. It would've made an awesome musical, had the writers not put in Interview....

I remember it being a lot different than the movie, but I've always liked books better. I feel like I can get into the story more, instead of just watching it.
Check it out at the library, and if you don't like it, who cares?

Posted: 12/29/07 at 11:20pmBooks are like that for me too. A good story in a book allows me to add my own little piece of imagination and thought to it as the movie someone else like the director and actors do it for me. I'd much rather use my own imagination.
