I have a zillion thoughts here. Can it be from the pop/rock idiom? Or are you looking for more theatrical?
Also, can it be for a man? There's that amazing song from Drood:
A Man Could Go Quite Mad.
You may be able to change the pronouns.
Well, since they suggested Crazy in the first place, obviously it doesn't have to be a show tune, but the other songs being sung are show tunes.
I don't see why it has to be specifically for a woman, I have no problem changing pronouns. Yeah, I said it.

I apologize for not going back far enough in the discussion - y'all talk too much!
But I still stand by my assessment - but understand how it can't be used.
"Give Me A Freak" - TABOO
well have you heard the Drood song? It's a great show piece for going mad.
I saw the show twice, but that was a long time ago! I might still have my - wait for it - CASSETTE version of the OBCR! I'll look tomorrow.
Thanks for all the suggestions and keep 'em coming if you want! I have to go to bed - my eyes are barely open here. Night, all!
brain Damage or Comfortably Numb both by Pink Floyd.
I've heard Comfortably Numb done in a variety of musical styles so I know that would work.
Love the Scissor Sisters version of "Comfortably Numb," although it's not exactly right for this performance, I think
well no, not as a dance song. But slowed down it can be a very haunting and unsettling experience.
Tonight, my bro and I told a bunch of teen girls to STFU. Well, screamed it more like, with a few expletives thrown in for effect. We went to see a movie and these chicks kept playing musical chairs, taking pictures, texting each other from across the theater, and giggling like only annoying schoolgirls can.
well you shouldn't have gone to see the Chipmunks.
You're absolutely right, taz. Serves me right.
Ugh. I'm realizing why I always lose weight when I come home: everything my mom buys is low-fat! I've already gone through the vegetables, the multigrain cereal, and the whole-wheat pasta, and now the worst thing I can find for dessert is low-fat ice cream, Cool Whip Lite, and dark chocolate chips. Feh.
Dang, and you're complaining about that. I always gain weight when I go home 'cause mom cooks with shortening, fries EVERYTHING and does not know the meaning of non-fat milk, not even 2%.
well if you eat properly you should be able to maintain your weight. Those all sound like very good foods.
Im stoked because I am finally GAINING weight and I'm not as scrawny as I have always been. Which is odd...because I am so broke that I am not really eating these days.

Well, since I'm eating EVERYTHING, I don't think I'll have trouble keeping my weight up, I just feel like there are certain things (namely ice cream) that shouldn't be low-fat. Small portions and real flavor win out over watered-down blahness every time for me.
I've never been a big food person. I have never really cared much for any of the things that all my friends for crazy for.
unless I'm high.
Exactly how many bowel movements do you have a day, scott?
None! I only poop rainbows and bubbles of sunshine.
Taz,
for somebody who claims to not toke very much, you sure talk about it a lot..then again...for a virgin I sure talk about sex a lot...
Akiva
that's the second time I've mentioned it Akiva. Any reason why you're keeping track?
...because it was last night...
Akiva
well that brought the thread to a grinding halt.
FINALLY!
