He could just be nervous. Fear not.
"Maybe he really was tired."
*the cows enter with cheese fondue and veggies*
I'm boooooooooooooooooooooooooooored!
Had Dinner with the neighbours (again) and now we are watching some new Ben Stillr movie, I think.
Akiva
I had an hour of excitement, now back to dull.
Same, DD. My mother and I had a lovely time at the movies until afterwards when we got into a fight because my Christmas gift to her wasn't thoughtful enough and I don't appreciate her and blah blah blah blah blah. Now I'm back at my dad's and he's mad at me because I snapped at him because of the fight with my mother. i'm very bored and my body HATES ME AND I HATE IT RIGHT BACK, YES YOU, BODY, YOU HEAR ME? I HATE YOU!
(P.S. LOVE Slings and Arrows! Awesome show).
My mother (who doesn't care for musicals) has discovered Dreamgirls today. She has watched it twice. She is in her bedroom singing And I Am Telling You along with Jennifer Hudson and it's hysterical. Heaven help me.
Random question. In "To Wong Foo . . . " what is the song that plays when they leave New York right after getting the car?
Amber's Mother: I know, I know caaaaaaaaaaaaaaannn!
Amber that is hysterical.
Spidey, the soundtrack is:
1. I Am The Body Beautiful - Salt-N-Pepa
2. Free Yourself - Chaka Khan
3. Turn It Out - La Belle
4. Who Taught You How - Crystal Waters
5. She's A Lady - Tom Jones
6. Brick House - The Commodores
7. Nobody's Body - Monifah
8. Do What You Wanna Do - Charisse Arrington
9. Hey Now (Girls Just Want To Have Fun) - Cyndi Lauper
10. Over The Rainbow - Patti La Belle
11. To Wong Foo Suite: When I Get To Hollywood - Charisse Arrington
I can't remember what played when, but I wore that damn soundtrack out in college. SO GAY.
geek, that sounds awful! What a way to ruin the Christmas spirit.
Wow Geek, that is horrible.
I'm sorry!
Hey all! Can you believe we are only days away from Election Year?
YAY!
I bought my 2008 Countdown to Bush being out of office calendar aqnd I am ready to GO! Alas, I haven't picked a horse yet. We Socialists have a rough time of it with the lot of mainstream candidates but seriously...what could be worse than the last Adminstration?
Huckabee.
The Huckster makes Jesus cry a little bit.
Gah, Geek . .. I am so sorry to hear that.
Jersey - I went to Amazon to listen to clips of the music and I can't find that song. It's an older sounding song, sung by a female.
To my lovely gayboys: Thank you so much for your condolences and I just want to tell you, please, be thankful EVERY DAY that you are not a woman. I love being female, except for one thing. And I'm dealing with that one thing right now.
Tru dat, Radi. I can't think of anyone worse than Wackabee at the moment.
*happy dance*
I love election years. Love them. I feel all dizzy and lightheaded just knowing we are a week away from Iowa caucuses.
Phew.
And Jon Stewart will be back on the air in a few weeks...which I have very mixed feelings about.
And BTW.... I still haven't decided if I loved or loathed Sweeney Todd....
I agree with everything in your post, Radi. Love election years, love Jon, and I'm still mixed on Sweeney.
I'm rambling.
I can feel my pulse racing and the lure of the campaign offices like a siren call.......*sighs*.
It's so sad really it takes very little to turn me on.
Anyway...sounds like there has been family dysfunction galore and gorging on food and presents.....aside from that how is everyone doing? I've missed this thread, but as usual I waited til the very last millisecond to do my shopping and that's why I have been AWOL.
Geek - yup, I worship at the Temple of Jon and I'm so happy to not be the only one with mixed emotions about ST.
Is indifferent about Depp, but thought ST was the greatest thing like ever. (By ever I mean since Enchanted)
Hi, guys. I'm bored.
Amen, JG2!
soapy .. me too! I felt, well, blah about Johnny...and I generally regard him as a good actor...but his choices just seemed so....well, obvious, I guess might be the right word. Absolutely nothing outstanding or memorable about it, except that in my opinion he sounded like the band of chainsaws at Nearly Headless Nick's Deathday Party.
