I did!
I bought them from 'Troll.' Remember those book ordering sheets?
I don't think i did. But I did own all of the Sweet Valley High novels.
YESS! It was the highlight of my elementary existence. But I had to be a good boy or else my mom wouldn't let me order anything.
Hello, lovelies.
My dad once saw the actor who played Zack when we were out to dinner in San Juan Capistrano a few years ago. Of course, my dad recognized him for his part on NYPD Blue and not so much Saved By The Bell.
I found one of my Saddle Club books the other day. Aw, childhood reading... those were good days...

He was also a victim on L&O: SVU once.
...and several bad made-for-tv movies.
But his crowning glory, "Dead Man On Campus"
I worked with a guy who played a corpse on L&O a few times. Chris was his name, I believe.

I had 'Clueless' junior novels.
I loved this movie! (Look it won some award.)
MY sister had THE BABYSITTERS CLUB and THE PINK PARROTS, and I would read them on occasion. As well as THE BOXCAR CHILDREN and NANCY DREW.
OMG! Troll! I used to want everything in those little paper catalogues they would hand out.
me too!
I would spend hours trying to decide which items my parents would have to buy for me. :)
Plus, I would always figure out what item combonation would result in a free grift.
I had to work for my books, bitches! My mom made me do chores around the house to earn my money.
Do you guys remember those ads in magazines for kids to earn prizes by selling random crap?
It was always a black background with around 20 1990's-esque prizes. At the bottom were kids faces telling you where they are from, how awesome it is to be apart of this selling (cult) club, and what they won.
I ran across one not that long ago in an old magazine- if I find it again - ill scan it.
remember this?
No.
Well, actually, yes, but it was the 70s version...
The 70's, whats that???
A plastic, joyless decade for which some people have misguided nostalgia.
