awesome middi!!!!
All stories involving yelling must be shared!
Soapy, you first, then Rath
And then I think we should all go to a spa and chill out.
It takes a lot to get my goat.
I thought you gave it out indiscriminately.
I like that spa idea deet
I haven't done it yet, taz. Only Soapy has a story at this point. Where'd he go, anyway?
If any of you work or have worked in retail, then you know how frustrating it can be. There have been numerous occassions where I feel like snapping at a customer because of their attitude.

If there is alcohol i will be there!
I sometimes get calls from our subscribers when there's no one else to take the call. I know exactly what you mean, PM.
I used to work in a hotel so I definitely know what you mean!!!!
Remember that musical film version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL? SCROOGE - with Albert Finney.
I love his first song: I HATE PEOPLE. Not always, but sometimes that song just plays, and plays, and plays in my head.
But taking a cue from the current thread title, Happiness should be abundant!
Do you like animals better Deet?
Good Lord NO!
You know what makes me smile, though?
CUTE KIDS AT MY JOB!
We had the most adorable little boy last week or so. He wanted to know why the store had balloons all over the place, and I said it was a celebration for Columbus Day so we were having a sale. He says, "Oh, I thought it was someone's birthday." And I said, "Nope. No one's birthday. We don't have any cake." He responded, "Or presents!" and I said, "Yep, you can't have a party without presents." And he says in reply, "Or cupcakes!"
It made my entire shift much better.
That, and the time a man who looked like Raul Esparza came in looking for a pair of sandals.

Well class is over and I'm packing up to go to my "other" job. See y'all in a few.
Sorry, I felt like socializing with the kiddies. One is building a very interesting Lego house. With John Cena and The Rock action figures as it's inhabitants.Hmmmm. . . .
Basically he's been ruining his life by being an ass. Going out with friends ex-girlfriends(and one current) and cheating on them(mostly induced by binge drinking). Bad mouthing them to anyone who'd listen after the break-up. Giving out personal details. Let's put it this way, I'm pretty much the only friend he has who hasn't given up on him. He started to act like less of an ass lately(stopped drinking apologized to people) he told me that he wanted to start back going out with an ex of his. (One of my best friends) He claimed to actually love her. I talked to her about, and she eventually agreed. He drove off without her at the movie theater because she wouldn't make-out with him. I guess some people just deserve to be given up on. I can't help but to feel that it's as much my fault as it is his.
It's NOT your fault. He's the ass. You are just a good friend who wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Good Lord, I HATE people like him.
I think you did the right thing, and I'm glad you had the balls to do so instead of going along with this behavior.

ahhh, how I don't miss being young. Soapy, it is not your fault. You didn't twist anyone's arms.

HI!
I love you. All of you.
Being sick makes me cuddly. Sorry.
Being sick also doesn't help your rep as a threadkiller!
I hope you get well soon, DGG. Being sick is no fun.
I almost wrote "being suck".
That works, too.
(I'm awfully sorry I messed up your name. I seem to be having difficulties posting coherently today!)
