I'm here.
Stupid HP... my computer has been out of commission for more than a week now because HP is taking their gosh darn sweet time sending me a new power cord... and now I feel like a stranger in my home thread. **sigh** You guys have been crazy posting lately.
In other news, Lucky Duck opened on Friday and was fantastic! We've now had three great performances, including tonight's, whose audience included a bunch of New York producers and none other than Mr. Henry Krieger! **dies**
The composer of Dreamgirls... shook my hand... and told me how much he enjoyed my performance and that he "noticed me in particular"! I can officially die happy.
I miss you all.
Hey, I miss you guys. I hope all is going well.
That's amazing, TheActr!
good evening kids!
Yep.
good morning lovelies!
Yes I am up at 7:00 am on a Sunday, and yes I am going back to bed.
Hope you're feeling better Linnie.
Actr - I am so happy for you! Does this show have any future plans? I'd love to hear me some new Krieger on Bway!
Good Morning, Avatarians!

Morning one and all! Nice to see you haven't gone on overdrive as usual and finished a thread overnight again.
Yes, I'm feeling much better, thank you taz. I just looked back over my posts from last night. It seems headaches have a very bad effect on my ability to type. Anyway...
Off soon to have a shower, and practice that black noise-making tube with the wooden thing on top in the corner. Concert tomorrow night! Solo! Eeek!
And, could anyone tell me what the opposite is to 'It's growing on me', as in, you're liking it more as the days go by? Because I got a new haircut on Friday, and every day I look at myself in the mirror I look more and more like Tin Tin. I mean, obviously my hair is growing on me, but it's a bit naff.

I love the image, Linnie. I think I will use it for my avater while I'm away next week.
You are leaving us??? Where are you going?? Did we all collectively approve?
Good morning!
Morning Tink.
Yeah, I'm going to Europe on Thursday - but I'll be back on Tuesday. Just a quick weekend trip. D2'sJ2 has business in Germany, and then we're taking a few days to sample the frites and beer in Brussels.
How did you enjoy COMPANY last night?
I am SOOOO jealous!! Germany is the #1 place I want to go. We are trying to plan Oktoberfest for Oct 08. We'll see.
Company was good, but not great. The performers themselves were awesome. I liked the instruments/simple staging. The book itself just left a little bit to be desired for me. Buzz was completely bored, but he was good about it. I'm worried though, the upper Mezz was empty. There may have been 10 of us in each section (left/center/right). The box seats only had 4 people, and saw some empty spots in lower Mezz as well.

Yeah, the grosses haven't been good.
My brother might get a job in Germany, Tink.
Jealous, bitch?
Tink, I can't see your avatar.
Deeter, we will miss you this week. Take a pic of yourself in liedershosen please!
Hello, loves.
I'm already preparing myself for the Deeter (or should I be calling him "Dieter"?) withdrawal about to descend. *sigh*
D2'sJ2 and I are back from our quality Starbucks time. (And no, that isn't a euphemism - we actually do go to Starbucks on weekend mornings, it is part of our routine.)
Tink: Yeah, I felt the same way about COMPANY. And believe it or not, Germany isn't my favorite place in Europe, especially after that incident in Dusseldorf in 2004. But Octoberfest should be fun, and the Munich/Bavarian Alps area is beautiful. Never been to Berlin, though.
Taz, no pictures of me in Leiderhosen. Not a chance.
Rath, I love "Dieter." Very funny.
And now, what you've probably not been waiting for but are going to get anyway:
RATH PART TWO: AFTER THE MILLIONS
By the time Rath was 22, she had overcome her humble beginnings by becoming a baking magnate – her company SWEET BUNS, which she founded when she was only 13, had gone public when she was only 20. But then there was that horrible baking accident…
Disillusioned and in pain (to this day she can’t go near a Williams-Sonoma) Rath sold SWEET BUNS to Keebler for $10,000,000 and decided to turn to her first love, the theater.
She was in an excellent position. Being fabulously wealthy, she could afford to do anything she liked in the theater, so she immediately decided combine her love of the theater with her love of helping people, and became a office manager at Prestigious Producer’s office. Her bubbly personality, her extraordinary organizational skills, and her ability to type an astonishing 750 words a minute (despite the loss of 7, count them, 7 fingers!) made her invaluable, and pretty soon Prestigious Producer couldn’t do anything without her. Within a year, she became an Assistant Producer, and by the time she was 25, she was Prestigious Producer’s business partner, and she had produced 45 Tony Award winning musicals and plays. Her 10 million had quadrupled and she had more money than she knew what to do with. So she decided to strike out on her own and single handedly (literally – I told you that baking accident was horrible) created a theater company in New York devoted solely to the production of classic musicals from the Golden Age of Broadway. It was an ambitious project, and her first season was destined to be epic: revivals of FOLLIES, CANDIDE, THE GOLDEN APPLE and reworkings of DUDE and VIA GALACTICA. Having trouble finding the financing required, she put up the money herself. After all, what good was it doing her just sitting around in that Swiss account, collecting 125% interest?...
Tune in tomorrow for RATH PART 3: HER OPENING.
hmm, Rath you lead quite an interesting life!!!
Tazzy - I dunno why you can't see my avatar, I can! Shane should not be missed by anyone!
SM2 - Hi there stranger! yes, I am jealous, but I'll get over it!
Went and got an oil change/car wash. I had totally forgotten my car was green, lol! Accident happened right in front of the place, so it kept us entertained while waiting. I tried to get a mani/pedi but it seems every place in Northern NJ is freakin closed on Sunday, grrrrrr.

Bravo, D2, bravo!
Germany?
I like Germans, but I couldn't eat a whole one.
And D2, you thought I'd lost this, didn't you:
A more recent one;
Linnie! Where did you find those? Do you know how much trouble you can get me into by posting those? It violates my agreement with both Kodak and the Dusseldorf Chamber of Kommerce!!!!!!

Ya, and my lawyer just called - he's heard from Kodak already. On a Sunday! You know how much this is going to cost me, Linnie!!! Do you!!! And do you care, you selfish little git...
