Hey! I've only been in spanish for about three days, but I really hate it. Finding out they expect me to devote three days worth of salary to a book also makes me kind of angry. The teacher is nice to look at thought, so I'm guessing it's worth it.
Don't you start your freshman year soon?

SOAPY!!!
I do! I move in Saturday the 30th. I'm so freaking excited!
And my German book was $160. Yuck.
When I first moved to San Francisco, I was hired by this really cute bakery. The boss told me I wouldn't start working until mid August. So, today, I call her. She says that she isn't putting any new people on the schedule. So, basically, I have no job and I'm running out of cash.
I spent all day today sending out resumes and filling out applications.
Ugh...I hate job searching. I really hope I can get the executive assistant job at this one nonprofit company. I've already submitted by application and resume. They just need to get to work!
Books are SO expensive. Half.com is the way to go... or so I hear. I've never actually used it, but several of my friends swear by it.

That's half the beauty of being an English major. No textbooks.
Then what's the other half?

Mauri herself...duh! :)
The best part about being an MT major is we only need like one book. The worst part...we're unemployed.
The best part about being in high school is...nothing. The worst part? The fact itself.

The other half is actually the joy of getting college credit for making stuff up. That's a pretty sweet deal.
But thanks, Robs.

You know, I think I'm the ONLY person in my graduating class that misses high school. I mean, I miss it, but I don't. I LOVED my high school.

Oh, I don't miss high school at all. I kept the friends I cared about and moved on.

Well I had been in school with these guys for 7 years. My school started in 6th grade. And yeah, there were cliques, but we all got along. All 162 of us.

Obligatory Sam Prague update: eight days!!!
I'm up early to go to the dentist. I'm a night grinder, which you would think would help me naturally file down my comically oversized top teeth, but is actually just wearing down my undersized bottom teeth, so I'm being fitted for... a night guard. Ew. So not hot.
I would think that ground down teeth would be a plus for you scott.

I do the same thing, Scott. I get the worst headaches from it.
Excited about going to college DGG?

Incredibly! I should upload some pictures of what my room currently looks like, with me buying craploads of just...stuff.
But I'm freaked out, too! It's going to be a blast.
