Someone called?
Hey Taz! Dude, I'm slow. I had no idea. Welcome back!
Yeah, I'm looking for Hugh Janus.
Hugh Janus is in the back room with Mike Hunt.
Sorry, SM!
I might've known I'd find Hugh Janus through the back door.

Taz has been paroled? Yay!
Welcome back, taz.
Mauri, how was NY?

Amazing! Well, we were crazy-delayed on Friday night and missed the first 25 minutes of Hairspray and it rained all weekend. But other than that, it was easily one of the best weekends I've ever had. On Saturday, I got to see Gypsy from the front row and Patti made eye contact with me twice. I did my best not to wet myself. Then, that evening, we saw [tos] and met the cast at the stagedoor afterward. They were all super-sweet and sincerely touched that we came all the way from Chicago just to see their show. (Hunter actually high-fived me). I cannot believe I'll never be able to see the show again. I applauded so hard, my hands still hurt the next day. Sunday was In the Heights and it totally blew us away. I actually cried pretty hard at one point during the show, which really surprised me since I don't really do that. So, yeah, NYC was pretty great. Thanks for asking.
Sounds like so much fun!
Which show was your favorite?

There's just no comparison. We actually considered skipping ITH and seeing [tos] again. Except we knew that Jeff, Hunter, Susan, and Heidi would want us to go see Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Did you meet up with any BWWers?
It's good to be back guys!
Mauri, so glad you loved NY.
kc, saw Mother of Tears. full review to your PM box soon, but basically it kicked all kinds of butt. Best scene - that sword on the stick when he kills Asia's mother's friend. OOOUUUCCCHHH.
Reminded me of that scene on the stairs in Inside.
Stagey, Mr. Janus is always lurking around the back door.

Stagey- No. I was planning on hooking up with Robs & DGG, but that fell through. We'll all have to plan something the next time I'm in the city.

Go see [tos] and tell Hunter and Susan that your friend from Chicago sent you.
That sounds downright gangland Mauri.
Taz is back! Yay!!! Just in time for she-who-must-not-be-named's CD release!
Unrelatedly, I very much enjoy that the Tesco brand version of Cocoa Puffs is called "Choco Balls." They're much more fun to put in my mouth.
Sounds like you had an awesome trip, Mauri! The [tos] cast are all such sweethearts. It's too bad I probably won't get to see the show again.
I was just in the City two weekends ago for the Flea Market and had a blast too!
And Sammy, I hope you brought enough Choco Balls to share with everyone....
Chocolate salty balls!
Is Chef over there sam?
I can't believe the guy who did the voice for Chef died.
He cannot be replaced!
(btw, yeah taz, that part reminded me of Inside too! I thought Mother of Tears was more suspenseful than Suspiria and Inferno, but Suspiria is still my favorite)

I'm more devastated about the movie trailer guy. Who's gonna narrate the previews now?
Also kc, there wasn't as much "expressionism" in the film compared to the others. This one actually had a coherent plot too.
While I enjoyed the mainstream elements, I do miss the ambiguous color saturated dream-like quality of Inferno and Suspiria
