Ahh... I've never had braces, so I don't know. But they sound gross.

Until I was about ten, my mom kept all the teeth I exchanged for money.

Except for the time I lied... everybody else in my class had started losing teeth, and I wanted to as well... so I said I lost a tooth, but I couldn't find it. I wrote a note to the tooth fairy and everything... she never paid up.

Yeah... I know, I know. I knew there was no tooth fairy that time that my grandpa asked, "Oh, you lost another tooth? Gonna put that under your pillow so your mo---the tooth fairy can give you a dollar?"

And as for losing, they've all been lost for quite some time now.

I always have these wicked dreams where like half my jaw will fall out due to tooth decay/gingivatis. Makes me brush my teeth for like ten minutes every time it happens.
