So I got the part of Dotty in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown... I emailed the director and she said I'd have lines and little singing stuff so I guess I'm happy... I was so sure I'd be perfect for Lucy...

Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

Aw, sorry to hear you wanted Lucy. Congrats on getting Dotty, though! I'm sure you'll be amazing. Such a fun show.

I know how you feel...I got called back for the part of Dolly in Hello, Dolly! (one of three girls) at my high school last week and got cut because I was too tall and they were too lazy to lengthen the dresses. But then they came running after the girl who was cast threw a fit and quit. Go figure.
