re: Is your room theatre-fied?

Sorry, this is random but a few people have Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Playbills in color on their walls. When I went I got a black and white Playbill. Is there a reason for this? Just curious. Thanks. (Great thread by the way)

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

I think the color playbills are printed for the first month or so and then they eventually switch to B&W. I may be wrong though...
Anyways, I am SO jealous of all of you!! All of the pictures are so cool! All I have up right now is my RENT poster and afew small things. I'll be putting up my framed playbills on the weekend.

I have Rent, Cats, Les Mis, Hairspray and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown posters in my room. I also have two bulletin boards with collages on them- one hairspray and one rent.

A few weeks ago I printed out a big RENT poster of the OBC and some other pictures and put them on my wall..(under the WICKED poster I painted..and posted previously) I'll post it later..

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

I have a Wicked poster, 4 autographed Wicked pics from David, Rue, Megan, and Shoshana - a signed playbill from the Shoshana/Megan/David/Rue/Ben cast - a playbill/ticket from the tour cast in Chicago, and a signed playbill/ticket from the current Chicago cast

I also have a ticket/signed playbill from the Hairspray tour in East Lansing Michigan

I am seeing 4 more shows soon (Les Mis, Joseph, Wicked, and Wicked again) when they come to the Detroit area - so I'll be adding more tix and more signed playbills - w00t

Playbills are switched to black and white for many shows to cut down on costs.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

Ok, its all a little too spread out to take a picture of, but here goes

-BIG poster of RENT (orig. Broadway) and ROCKY HORROR (movie)
-Reg. posters for WILL ROGERS FOLLIES (current tour), AIDA (tour), MARTIN GUERRE (London), LES MIS (London), and GUYS AND DOLLS (RNT-London), DREAMGIRLS (Concert)
-Personal: Posters of Jesus Christ Superstar that I was in in High School and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN that I directed last summer. Also a photo collage of AGYG, one of the Wild West show posters used in the show, and little SUNDAY IN THE PARK collage with my Bernadette pic and autograph, and a page from the program when I saw it at Ravinia, and a print of the painting.
-All the flyers from my last trip to Broadway: Spelling Bee, Doubt, Woman in White, Color Purple, Chita Rivera, Pajama Game, and Sweeney Todd
-Next to my computer, flyers for two shows I just saw here in Chicago: Dear World and Loving Repeating.

Somewhere in this post I got tired of hitting CapsLock for the show titles. My apologies for any confusion caused.

That is an understatement. Every inch is covered with a poster or an autographed playbill or a magazine cover.

re: Is your room theatre-fied?

My room is about as theatre filled as my parents will allow it to be. That consists of a Wicked poster and a Rent poster on my wall. I also made a secret Rent book. It has reviews, ticket stubs, advertisements, and quotes from the show. Yes I am THAT obsessed with the show. I'm gonna try and convince my parents to let me re-decorate my room with a broadway theme before I go off to college next year.
