re: Isaiah Washington has been fired

This "scandal" is hilarious, especially when you've never seen an episode of the show and have no idea who any of these people are (Aside from Heigl, of course).

re: Isaiah Washington has been fired

What is hilarious about it? He called his costar a horrid term in front of all of the cast and crew. Some knew he was gay, some who didn't. Coming out should be on one's own terms. He threatened another costar with physical violence. Then when everything was calm and starting to pass over he said it AGAIN at the Emmys.(I think?) He wasn't calling him the word again, but he broke in in the middle of a cast Q&A and said, " didn't call TR a f*****t." He could have said anything in the world. 'I didn't call him a name.' 'I didn't mean anything by it.' Hell, he could have kept his stupid mouth shut. It's not hilarious and I am glad it is resolved. Why is it particularly hilarious to you, Cruel?

I figured this when she returned to their apartment in her wedding dress, and all of his things were gone.....

Yeah, I kind of figured this as well... and not for nothin, even if they DID bring him back next season, what would they have done with him? I mean really.... with the way the last few episodes of this season went there was no place to go with his character anyway (which was obviously the intention all along).

I'm still on the fence about the season finale. I've watched it 3 times already and I still can't decide how I feel about everything that happened.

Im concerned about the dynamic of the show though, with Kate and Isaiah not returning.... and now with Meredith's sister coming in..... I just have this feeling of impending doom for the upcoming season.

I do concur, however, that Sandra Oh's performance in the finale was SUPERIOR. She definitely deserves an Emmy for that.

Mr. Washington not only called T.R. the f word, but he had his hands around the throat of the guy he was yelling at.

He has had a long history of anger issues on many other sets. Let's hope this is the last we hear from him....

Or wait, he COULD go into dinner theatre?! Some of you may have to work with him! If so, spit in his coffee.

I won't miss him.

I don't think Clay was anywhere NEAR as much of a surprise as was T.R..

Isaiah Washington's name sounds a bit familiar. Did he have anything to do with Star Trek in the past?

Meanwhile, The Advocate is now calling TR Knight a "hero."

This dovetails nicely with my discussion of my disappointment in mainstream gay culture in the Reichen: tacky yet politically active thread.

Is that really all there is, my gay friends?

Comparing T.R. Knight to Reichen is beyond ridiculous.

I get your point, Namo. But they are completely different.

Alright, nevermind. I just Youtubed a few Grey's Anatomy clips and the dialogue is rather cringeworthy.

Amazing that these people, who get, by all accounts, dream jobs for fantastic salaries, can still act like four year olds.

Good riddance.

Well, I think it's because they're both being elevated to "hero" status for reasons that are specious at best.

At least T. R. hasn't said anything AGAINST the GLBT community.

Reichen, on the other hand...

God, if I got an Advocate cover for being called a faggot, I would have been on it years before I actually was.

For the record, I don't think Knight's a bad person, I'm just not sure it's all that heroic to come out publicly when you were essentially forced to.

Okay, am I the only one who had an inkling he was gay after he presented on the Tonys last year with Sara Ramirez and his blue hair?

re: Isaiah Washington has been fired

T . Knight is a accomplished person on his own . He has something to offer. He also took advantage of a bad situation and did whathe could with it.

The likes of Reichen and Paris are phony celebrities.

Can't say I am sad to see him go. Even before his homophobic slurs against my boyfriend, T.R., his work on Grey's did absolutely nothing for me.
