re: It's Official!

I can say nothing bad about wellbutrin, it's how I quit smoking 8 years ago, and I did it happy.......I was happy to quit, never suffered withdrawel....but happy....so happy it scared me, but it worked.

Then about maybe in 2000-2001 I started on it for depression, and it has truly helped me.

I do know you have to be careful what other drugs you are taking, as I had to take one for almost a year, and one of its main side effects was deep depression, so wellbutrin didn't o much.
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

re: It's Official!

Well, this was the first visit where I mentioned "Depression," but I have gone to him for different things, that he told me he believed it was all linked to the depression. Hopefully, the Welbutrin will work and not make me "numb" or "make me want to commit suicide."

re: It's Official!

i was having really severe anxiety attacks a few years back, right after 9/11. they continued all through college and they were completley debillitating. i went for therapy and was given a steady stream of anti-depressants (which i never took because i was afraid i'd feel worse on them)...

and low and behold something just clicked eventually and i started to get better. i think the therapy definitley helped, and although i never took it, i heard great things about wellbutrin as well.

good luck. it's a very hard thing to get through, but you can do it!
