I love NYC in the snow... and plan to enjoy it. If it starts snowing again!
We don't have a lot on the ground but it's never really stopped all day. You've probably got it all around you Addy. Keep your fingers crossed that it starts up again real soon.
As long as everyone gets where they need to go safely!
(My plans out of the city this evening were cancelled, which was probably wise. The heavy snow is supposed to hit later, and I would have been stuck.)

No snow yet here in Hartford. I just got back from the grocery store. With the way people were shopping you'd think we were going to get hit by a plague. The milk aisle and toilet paper aisle were completely empty. As for me, I bought chocolate and batteries.
No snow in Western Mass either.
NO SNOW IN NYC!! STOP NOW!!! NO BLIZZARD!!!
I'm flying in on Monday, dammit!!!!!

It's awfully pretty down here in PA. I'm not much of a winter person, but if I must suffer through the season, I like it this way- not too cold and looking like a crystalline fantasy landscape.

Haha, NJ's going to get buried. One thing I really don't miss is literally digging my way out of the house.
Still nothing on the ground, but they are still saying we will have 8-12 inches by morning. (This southern gal is excited. I have never seen that much snow!)
I can't believe there's really going to be a blizzard...

Oh, just a foot? :P You should have been there in '96.
I working on a project in Boston for I think what was the 1998 Blizzard (could have been 1999, I don't think it was 1997). Stupid United let the plane take off, and I was re-routed to Newark, and then had to take a train the rest of the way to Boston. I ended up playing den mother to a bunch of college kids who were trying to get back to school. (I actually spoke to a couple of their parents and assured them that I would look out for them on the train ride to Mass from NJ.!)
I remember getting out of the train station in Back Bay and trying to walk through was seemed to be two feet of snow with luggage to get two blocks to the hotel. Then, battling the snow to take the T to get to Quincy where the project was based.
I don't envy you guys on the East Coast.

It's pretty! The snow! Lady Godiva and I rented movies and have ennough food and Diet Coke. So all will be okay.
It's finally sticking in Queens. Booooo...
Sometime between the time the sun went down (when I stopped being able to see what was going on outside my window), and now, when I turned out my light so I could see, we have probably had 2 inches here in Yonkers.
Undi, you should take the train to the city tomorrow to see you know what...
20 mins isn't too bad. I would hate to have to drive all the time though.
It started snowing here in Central Jersey about 1:30, but didn't really start sticking everywhere until about 7ish or so. The wind sounds brutal out there.
