re: It's quiet on the board tonight. Where is everyone?

I'm surprised I didn't stay up, I think in college I was up until 5 more often than I went to sleep before midnight.

Now I read all those posts and I am aprehensive about the Rent movie, I was avoiding everything to do with it to build the anticipation (including the soundtrack) but these cuts make me very , very worried.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

My problem is still this fear of not knowing what I actually think. When I see it, there will be these facts and these explanations for the cuts, which have told me all along that they're okay. Then there will be the way I react emotionally to it, which I know will be positive. But I know that even though I'm aware of the "correctness" of the cuts, I may still be a bit upset with them, and I'll try to bury that because I know I'm not supposed to be upset with them.

It'll result in me very uncomfortably dancing around my own opinions, trying to explain what I know versus what I feel in my gut reaction. It'll be like "I know this was cut because, and I believe that it's okay, and I trust the creative vision, etc, but I still wanted to see...." I hate having this odd balance between what I really think, and what I know I'm supposed to think, because the latter is far more logical. It's just unsettling.

But, this is just some f*cked-to-hell personality trait I have to deal with.

Everytime I see a clip or interview I squeal with antipation though.

We will get through this Em, quirly traits and all. If nothing else when the DVD comes out, we can watch it and pause and add the parts that are cut back from the OBCR. (Yes it is crazy, and yes I probably will do it.) re: It's quiet on the board tonight. Where is everyone?

Haha every human has at least five of those.

Ooh Em, you were up late for schoolwork? Aww, I was just...up...for no good reason. And I always thought I was a heavy sleeper. I've had some rare nights of being up that late over the summer or Thursdays after bowling when I don't have anything the next day, though rarely when I had to get up for something. But the latest I stayed up was New Years Eve two years ago, got into a bar (was lauded for having one drink...I'm not a big drinker, I did like being thought of as 21...) and karoaked in Fort Lee for hours, got home at 7:30AM. That's the latest. But obviously got to sleep for some hours.

And it's weird, right now...I'm not tired. I also got 5 hours of sleep the night before, so my REM sleep probably kicked in more b/c it was already deprived. I say this now, when I get home at 2:30, I'll probably be zonked lol.

For these situations, I recommend vanilla frappucinos from Starbucks.

No, I'm saying that it's ridiculous that the only time I DO almost stay up all night isn't even for schoolwork. I just couldn't sleep.

Oh, that's what I thought from what we were discussing last night, okay.

I could have been doing schoolwork...but that would make sense...

(My fav icon is back Em btw hehe)

Heh Heh look at the time. I'm really not always up til 3:30, I swear....

just get home late from the city and usually need to make sure I'm awake driving home so I'm up for a bit after, not as much fun w/o other insomniaks joining in the fun. But no classes tomorrow makes it much easier and funner to deal w/.
