I have had the strangest feeling for a long time w the Pope that we were into a "Howard Hughes" style regime & that the Pope has been a mere figurehead for a long time. Wonder how many of present Pope's appointee's will cont in the new regime? Wonder who the front runners are?

Liam, you may not be ready to make your confirmation if you don't know the structure of the rosary! To begin, you say the Apostle's Creed, then 1 Our Father, then 3 Hail Mary's, then 1 Glory Be To The Father. For each decade (there are 5 of them), 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Mary's and 1 Glory Be. I remember being grilled thoroughly by our parish priest...I also told him I was going to be the first female server (altargirl) and the first female Pope--and that I'd be a married woman in that office.

He had me pegged as a rebel after that...
