ummm.... did i not just say that i'm a catholic? and though i said not conservative republican, i do have mostly republican views. i was self-effacing. i'm sorry i offended you. it happens, love. send me nasty pm's! i love controversy, and i will gladly take any criticizms. but you're right, that comment was a bit much.

hooray for shallow thinking, and i think this scab business is going a little too far. i seem to remember this as a forum for discussing homosexuality, not blood clots. ah the bliss of being young and thinking i know everything. be grateful, for i'm sure i'm providing you with much material to laugh at and ridicule. and lady guenivere, about the catholic thing. try going to DignityUSA's website. it focuses on homosexuality and the catholic church and is very informative and comforting. at least it was for me. happy president's day!

This is where he does the, "excuse me I did not know this was a dictionary site as far as I can tell it's a thread about blah blah blah" thing. I just feel bad when anybody tries to engage with him because he has said many times he writes things he does not mean. So, really, what's the point?

FYI... The computer can be used to look up words you don't understand. Or for that matter to check spelling.

I think I can help you out there-There are some people who still value the correct use of the English language in spelling, vocabulary and grammar. I notice that as time passes, the mistakes in these areas are disturbingly ubiquitous in advertising, television (did you ever watch close captioning?) and in mispronunciations by the President.

I'm one of those people who are bothered by it. Why? because it symbolizes a lot more than an innocent 'spelling error'.

Whew! end of rant.

Bad grammar, punctuation and spelling lessen the impact of what is said. Put simply, if you are careless with your words, why should anyone else take them seriously?
