bdwaygirl, I haven't seen a post. I don't know if there would be one... It was a wonderful evening and the audience seemed to enjoy it. The soloists were dramatic, and Roger Rees, Dana Ivey and Richard Easton were all terrific! (If we get reviewed in the Times I am sure they will hate it...they always do. But they're not the point! LOL...) It was a fun program for us to do.

Did you cozy up to Rees and get comps for you and all of your friends to Williamstown?

oh, he told me a while ago to call him when I'm there!

We've collaborated on a number of programs with him, starting with An Evening of Kurt Weill (which went on to become Here Lies Jenny), and the Evening of American Operetta. He's the Artistic Director of our group, and works with the Music Director to come up with various program ideas. I'm on the Governing Committee, so I am fortunate to be involved in the creative process as well. I love working with him! He has wonderful energy.

LOL. Nope. Can't say I've done either! But, I have danced with him... a lovely sweeping waltz around the stage in Alice Tully Hall. We were quite entertaining during a rehearsal one rainy afternoon. Jack homework

I wasn't sure if you had posted details on another thread that I hadn't seen.

What does The Times know, right?!

Glad to hear your concert went well and you're feeling better, Addy...

To all you sick people (the ones with just an illness and not the ones with the mind in the gutter, which probably includes the ones with an illness): the only way I got over the flu/stomach thingy was by doing absolutely nothing for an entire weekend but sleep, eat healthy, and rest. Oh, I did go shopping. That's good for the soul. But usually those bugs stay with me for a while, but I got rid of it in one weekend.

Cookie, that's not good....

I actually need to stay away from food, yet am starving! What is wrong with me?

ElTico, that is the very plan this weekend. I have a party on Friday night, but plan to spend the rest of the weekend in my pajamas. Except for Saturday night. Jack homework

speaking of secretary's... For some reason I thought today was Secretary's Day (or Administrative Professionals, or whatever the PC term is these days...), so I brought my Administrative Assistant a bouqet of flowers this morning.

Turns out, it isn't until the 27th. She thought I was just being nice for no reason. Talk about extra goody points!! (Maybe she'll do my massive expense report for me now...)

They're taking us out for lunch next week for Admin. Day. I don't complain even though I'm not technically Admin.

Addy, did you get the cheat sheet?

...and I haven't had the chance to check my home email because I didn't go on the computer when I got home from the concert last night. I'll check this weekend, though! I am SURE that it came through, though!! Jack homework Thank you...
