One of my son Brian's teachers from high school is married to a guy who looks like Tobey Maguire. I saw him one night after a play at the school. He really does look a lot like him, I wouldn't say dead-ringer, but yeah, you do think, "wow, he looks like Tobey Maguire!" when you see him.

I just wanted to share that.

It'll be interesting when I meet you all... I think everyone looks like their avatar (it takes a while to get used to the new ones), and everyone's names. I know a couple of "real" names, but it seems interesting to go from bww nickname (ie Addy, cookie, undie...) to real name.

ok, I've been up since 7 trying to find a place to park my car because I have to be somewhere at noon and the entire area is 'frozen' due to a large cycling event... I'm not even sure that I'll be able to get out of where I ended up parking, and none of the traffic people (or the people towing cars) seemed to know. It's beyond frustrating. (Plus, it's such a perfect day to stay inside, and I don't even want to do what I have to do in the first place...) So, I'm treating myself to some Dunkin' Donuts.

oh, and Crap! to the 'flooding' last night in the corner where I had stored my bags and coat during dinner... I now have things all over the kitchen trying to dry out. Fortunately none of my stuff was really important...

Hopefully nobody else's things were ruined. There were a couple of items which would be a shame if they were soaked...

But, on a brighter note... I finally figured out what I was doing wrong in 'cats cradle' last night. I've been playing with string for a little while this morning...and having lots of fun.

apparently it's a cycling event, PalJoey... The cop who assured me that where I parked would enable me to depart the area was incorrect. (Doesn't fill me with confidence about the parking info, therefore...)
