Addy -- I have a concert at Chastain Park (outdoor amphitheatre) on Fri. the 1st and haven't decided on the rest of the weekend. Have been invited to Quebec City by a friend and may take her up on the offer. Not sure...but this trip doesn't sound very patriotic over Independence Day, does it? What will you be doing for the 4th, Addy??

Addy - Yes, I do... and the view looks amazing! I have a couple of friends who live in a penthouse in Battery Park City and have a pretty cool view - are you far from there???

I live on the East side... but, I'm reserving a space in Battery Park for the event. The views there are so amazing!

Your friends must have a spectacular place. I had a bunch of friends who lived in that area, but many moved out after 9/11...

My friends didn't actually move to BPC until after 9/11. They really do like their place - and since they have a new baby girl (born in mid-March!) they have the room for her to play and grow.
