I didn't spend too much money, DD, but I picked up a few little goodies, and I found something that I want to splurge on (but couldn't do today...).

I've always adored pink sapphires (I know...how uppity of me). I saw a ring in one of the shops in the jewelry district (which is just across the street from my office) which I really like. I want to design one, but liked the style of the one I saw. I want to do some comparative shopping/pricing, but I think it's something I'm going to treat myself to. I'm no longer wearing the diamond band that my 'ex' gave me, and it feels funny to not wear a ring when I'm so used to it. So... I think I might splurge. We'll see.

What did you get, DD?

Oh... got undies, and jeans, and t's, and a whole new bed set... sheets, pillowcases, duvet cover, bed skirt... spent A LOT more money that I expected, but the sheets are the hotel collection and were super discounted (paid $30 for $160 sheets) and are 600 thread count! Couldn't beat that! Can't wait to get home and re-do my bedroom.

I'm having the same issue with the ring... got used to it but now don't want to wear it any more.

ok, I just put a Charbonnel et Walker Pink Champagne Truffle in my mouth. It is the most delicious thing ever. I think it even beats the Creme Brulee Truffle... Or maybe it ties it.

I'm just happy right now. That's all.

a Charbonnel et Walker Pink Champagne Truffle is one of the biggest small things there is! Addy you deserve every mouth watering bite... Now, I have a bottle of vintage champagne chilling and I hear it calling my name ... i just have to hop over Capitol Hill and pop that cork :)
