The collapse was at Riverside and 181st.

No reports of injuries. But, the retaining wall must be compromised at this point. I wouldn't want to live in one of the co-ops there... I would be worried for my foundation.

Ok... so this is how conditioned we are to be afraid these days. I got home early, and there's a box on my door, US Postal Service, but I don't recognize the sender's name at all, and I haven't ordered anything online. A few years ago I would've just opened it; I'm quite reluctant to do so now. Isn't that terrible?

edit: sigh of relief... it was my Passion Party order... she was supposed to send it to our mutual friend, not directly to me, so I wasn't expecting it. Yay! Oh wait, I'm single now...

This is the best news I've had in months...
We have long suspected we were overpaying on our electric bill...turns out, they havent' been in to read our meter for 7 months (that's since I moved in)...
We now have a $500 credit on our bill.
