The poor woman - I doubt I could come in to the office if I were naked, covered in hives and being chased around the house by a mouse. Why on earth would you not say that you had some horrible illness instead?
Hey there, sweet undi. Have you been staying out of trouble?
brdlwyr, I can't even imagine calling in with that excuse.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Girly I can't imagine you running around your house naked chasing a mouse either.
I actaully give her credit for telling the what has to be the truth....Brd -- you must be a darn good person to work for if someone can be that honest with you!
So long as there is no pattern, this is just a good story to laugh over! Often! Loudly!
a good visual too K.
Just coming in to jack my own thread!
Today’s Twin Donut Coffee Chili Factor: 3-alarm (this stuff had everything BUT the chili consistency).
chili=gross
The coffee I make here at work works out well.

Twin Donuts = ghetto Dunkin Donuts...
but the one on 23rd and 6th isn't bad.....
Well, the craptastic end to the Twin Donuts tale is that we have A Dunkin Donuts in the 'hood now...but it's two blocks north of the train. I am generally booking it to get onto the train in time and the Twin is literally right by the subway stop...so I don't have the time for the extra trip up to Dunkin and back down, even though their coffee is clearly superior.

DD coffee just does not cut it for me. Too weak.

DD will do for daily coffee. Though when I want good coffee, Illy takes the cake, for a "commercial" brand.

I do not know Illy - is that a shop or a store brand?
brand... Williams-Sonoma carries it. Their espresso is even better...

Bway - I got a nespresso machine and it is the most grand and glorious thing in the world - the coffee version of KMFs washing machine.
BT: Have you read Jeffrey Steingarten's "It Must Have Been Something I Ate? His quest for the perfect espresso was hysterical.... Nespresso and Illy are mentioned there...
brdlwyr: was that directed to bway or myself?

The oldest said yesterday, "I thought you were 39?" (brat)
Undi - you're a nespresso gal?
Cookie - I will have to read it. I love my nespresso - mmmm the crema.
