Jake: It's surprising. The love scenes with Heath in the movie are very poignant moments. But they happen so fast and, in a weird way, are quite mundane. I knew exactly what they entailed and had a lot of time to psych myself up for that. But I probably enjoyed dancing around naked in a Santa cap more. Y'know, you feel sexy, just can't help it.

I see nobody addressed the glaring and obvious unanswered question:

Is the G in Gyllenhaal pronounced as in "golf" or as in "giraffe"? I have heard it both ways on various shows and I prefer the first option.

And I liked Day After Tomorrow MUCH better than Donnie Darko, during which I fell asleep.

Andy Towle at towleroad has some nice screen shots (taken by phone cam in a movie theater?) of Jake from Jarhead.

At least I THINK it's Jake. It's hard to tell from the rear...

the santa hat scene and shower scene is him but the opening montage with "jake" and a woman making whoopie is alleged to be a stunt double.

I have Jake over here now and I think they'd go well on either side of me.
You know, like Melanie Griffrith as Roxie said, they'll frame me better.
And make all the plastic surgery worth it.
