James Shigeta well known in theater/musical circles for his roles in the movie version of FLOWER DRUM SONG and the 1974 Bacharach/David flop, LOST HORIZON has died at the age of 81.

When I did a google search, oddly, the picture that popped up with his wiki page was David Henry Hwang.

I remember him best for voicing Captain Li, Shang's father, in 'Mulan'. R.I.P.

I always found James Shigeta to be extraordinarily appealing. I would have liked to have seen him as the King in THE KING AND I. But I hope he had a good life. RIP.
