I KNOW this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but as I have two kids in the prime "nick" watching demographic I became aware of it today. http://justjared.buzznet.com/2010/09/02/jane-lynch-on-icarly-first-look/

She's is, frankly, the PERFECT choice to play this character. The 'daughter' is really a mini me of Jane's glee character.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I have no kids so I have NO excuse for watching this show but I admit, i do watch (sometimes.) Given the total offbeatness of Sam's character (and what she says about her Mom) this really is a perfect matchup.

Sometimes I watch it even when my son isn't home. I mean I won't sit down and turn it on, but if he's watching and then goes out to play, I won't change the channel. That and Victorious.

I really shouldn't be watching this show seeing as I'm a senior in high school. But I don't have cable TV so I just watch whatever is on Netflix and I think this show is okay, except for Miranda Cosgrove. In my opinion, she cannot act at all. I do think Jane Lynch is perfect for Sam's mom though!

You gotta be original, because if you're like someone else, what do they need you for? -BP.
