I had a HUGE crush on Letterman when I was in college.

I don't know how they can even be compared. Jay is an unfunny douche. He has no style, no wit...I've never liked him at all.

I'm plenty deep-I just don't agree that you have to be so much of a thinker to get Dave. He simply isn't funny. I should slap my own self across the face for even making so much of a big deal over tastes in comedy!

I can't blame you for that. In fact, there's nothing wrong with liking a certain amount of trash tv as well as educational tv. I think a balance is healthy.

Didn't the dump happen on the premiere of the second season?

Contrary to popular belief, I'm pretty smart, but I don't think either Leno or Letterman are that funny. If I had to pick, I'd say Leno was funnier. I've never thought Letterman's "Top Ten" was funny, and Phil Schaeffer bugs the **** out of me. Why do people wear glasses inside? I know the lights are bright, but jeez!

I loved the first season of Flavor of Love. Actually, I only watched it because of the train wreck that is New York.

I didn't even like Johnny Carson. I liked Joey Bishop and Merv Griffin. I detest comedians. None of them are funny to me. Especially, the one everybody here seems to love, Kathy Griffin. Her comedy is so foreced and fake. Nothing she says is true, or even rings true to me, no matter how many times she throws the "its true" remark in her routine. Also, she seems about a billion times more homophobic than Jay Leno. But all comedians try to get a laugh at someone else's expense. Unfortunately for me, I haven't laughed at someone since Totie Fields!

Hey, Mr. Smarts, it is Paul not Phil and some people suffer from overly sensitive eyes (I assume you meant SUN glasses) which can be brought on by medication and other things and have to wear shades inside and out. Now, I don't know if Paul suffers in that way or if he is just being pretentious, but to judge someone solely on that fact it just proves that you are NOT that smart. But we all knew that.
