and oh my God, are they something else. I enter a store, and here is a woman sitting, with here JW nametag on,, while the salesperson is telling her what her purchases cost...and the woman says, I do NOT want the price in YOUR mon, and what do you people call that. I want it IN dollars.........the Czech currency is Korunas.
I have seen SO many examples of Ugly Americans here, that it sickens me,,,,,,

and I am sorry, but stretch pants in a Cathedral is just wrong

I have a friend who's a JW escapee. Even though she believed she would never make the alloted few who get into heaven, she still has periodic guilt feelings about leaving. You aren't supposed to have an independent thought, doncha know.

You don't have to worry about them cutting into the supply of Pilsener Urquels. If the beer drinking team was in Prague than I'd worry.

Find the Blue Duckling restaurant,it's really great.

I knew some JW twins in middle school. Those two always got out of performing at band concerts, which pissed me off. So what if you don't believe in Christmas, you should still do the damn thing!

When I was in the third or fourth grade and invited my JW classmate to my birthday party at the local pool, his mother gave us the rules:

1) He could come.
2) He couldn't sing "Happy Birthday."
3) He could swim.
4) He couldn't bring a present.
5) He could eat cake.

My conclusion? The Jehovah's Witnesses are a sect founded by and for cheapskates and freeloaders.

eta: Later, when we did a play version of "The Black Cauldron," his mother wouldn't let him be in the cast because of the magic elements, but she would let him run the lights. Too bad. We were going to let him be Hen-Wen, the pig.

we did NOT see them all day today....thought good, maybe they left. Then tonight a ton were on the Charles Bridge...seems they sat at their convention in the very hot soccer stadium, the largest in Europe, courtesy of the former USSR.......so I say a totally hot one went up and said where were you guys no name tags around prague........he said, Did you miss me
I answered.......come to our hotel and we'll show you just how much.........his wifes mouth dropped.....but I swear I saw a hint of a sparkle in his eye.....

off to Frankfurt in the AM, and home late Sunday night

now there is a really stupid comment.......the inference is that Muslims, Jews, etc should celebrate Xmas just cause it exists
