I am keeping him in my thoughts. My ex-partner's father died from liver cancer when he was only in his fifties; it's one of the nastiest cancers to get, especially if it's spread. President Carter has given so much to the world and has continued to contribute right up until today -- talk about a life well-lived.

Your use of the phrase "last days" is premature and insensitive.

Sorry but I agree with PJ. President Carter is living with cancer. There is no epiration date tatooed on his body that I or anyone else knows of. Your use of "Last Days' is insensitive and in bad taste even if you do love him.
