Anyone watching this on Bravo? She is cracking me up.

Love her or hate her, she's a riot.

I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)

Ivan watched it last night, and I watched a tiny bit. She's so funny!

I watched the part about the old people at Costco.

I didn't find her funny at all. Perhaps because I can't get over her freakish looks, to find the humor in what she is saying? She's also recycling some stuff from when I saw her in the 80s, so I've heard it before.

I think she's funny in small doses.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I saw her act YEARS ago in Las Vegas (pre-facial reconstruction) and I have never laughed so hard in my life. She was absolutely hysterical. Just sit back where you can't see the new face so clearly and listen to her. She was on stage with Frank Sinatra and I thought he was going to fall off the stage laughing at her!

*shrugs* She may look like Jocelyn Wildenstein's baby sister, but I like Joan Rivers, what can I say? Melissa is another matter, though!

I was shocked I was laughing so hard watching her last night. She is a trip. She hasn't lost it at all. I've seen her live in the early days and she wasn't swearing like she was last night. I still was laughing out loud and I rarely do that. Go Joan!!! I loved her very un-PC bit about using children in other countries to make Joan Rivers jewelry. "They've got such little fingers for detail work. Hey little girl, do you want to be a prostitute or work for Aunt Joan in an air conditioned factory? Thank you Kathy Lee for paving the way!" Vile and priceless.

"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal "I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

'Back in the day' I knew every word to her album "What Becomes A Semi-legend Most?" The photo on the back cover of her super-imposed into Charles and Diana's family wedding portrait - in an outfit matching the Queen Mother's, and holding a blender - is still one of the funniest sight gags I've ever seen.
