Diagnosed with liver cancer 4/5 weeks ago
Heard yesterday he entered a hospice
Just came across news on the radio he has died. I believe he was 67
By thje way, Andy WIlliams (83) announced he has bladder cancer. Hopefully it was caught early like mine was.

Correction
The same guy on 1010 Wins who previously reported his death has now come on to say he was wrong and he is not dead but gravely ill. I have never heard of this happening before.

Posted: 11/6/11 at 2:09pmYou've never heard of someone's death being prematurely announced before? It happens quite frequently, it seems--Bob Hope was reported dead at least three times before his actual death, to give just one example.
