I don't know if any of you have seen this film but it's amazing. I found out it was based on a play of the same name and I'm dying to find a copy of the script from the stage version
version. Does anyone know where I could find a copy?

It's not in print. It was written by a Canadian playwright, Ted Allan, who passed away about 10 years ago. Maybe if you contact the executor of his estate.
He also wrote "Lies My Father Told Me" as a play, and then wrote the screenplay for the movie which won a Golden Globe as Best Foreign Film.
