If HS's can do Guys and Dolls, a show with a burlesque dancer and a whole sequence of the leading lady losing her inhibitions while getting drunk, they should be able to do this show. It would not shock me if more of these situations crop up while Trump and conservatives take over everything.

Frankly, I think it's apparent the whole country needs to go on strike or we are going to lose everything to Trump and his crook friends.

I have a hard time seeing them getting clearance to close a whole street here like they did in London. 

Personally found the side characters to be pretty annoying. Will be annoyed if they are shoehorned in more just cause. Why are we talking about an "expanded wicked universe" like there's gonna be a third film?

His silence isn't surprising after the word salad palooza of statements that came from the MHE casting oof. 

Respectfully, I have to assume a fully realized bombshell didnt happen because of money and the extra effort that would've been required. Sure it would be taxing on the performer but they can lower keys and make things more manageable. Would've love to see them at least try.

I think what's been extremely disheartening to see from enough people on here is the thinly veiled racism. Audra is sensational in this and I hope she wins. 

It's kinda wild to see everything from "this is a blast!" to "just terrible" about this show. I grew up with the tv show and it was very formative for me. I'd like to see this when I get the chance but I have to admit I was hoping for a full on bombshell adaptation (as silly as it would've been in a way). 

if I can find it again I'll link but there's definitely a interview Eden did where she mentioned how they offered her an alt in the beginning and turned it down.

I've always thought Carol by Patricia Highsmith (and also a beautiful film) would be really interesting to musicalize. I could see Frankel and Korie doing it but I also see it as an opera tbh.

I didn't hear that she got better post injury. Didn't she miss again after the injury too? 

The sales for this...are not good. Even with closing sections. I wish them well but am very confused why this show is playing the palace. Didn't it play a tiny theatre in the UK? 

I hope they make it! The sales aren't really looking great still. 

I know Feinstein is her friend but she also basically funded his newest Gershwin album. The vibes are strange to me but as long as Liza is okay then I'm happy
