Most people don't know that Diana (from "Soap") had such a terrific voice! I know she was (terribly underused) in "Company" on Broadway a few years ago. She should have had her own show, or done a musical film or something.

She could really sing!

Exactly. That Keira Knightly thread got me thinking about stars who "suddenly" we find out can sing, and everyone's surprised. I wasn't all that impressed with Keira though. She has a little-girl voice with pitch problems. She can carry a tune well enough, I guess. But she's not a singer. Only as much as Natalie Wood and Audrey Hepburn were (with their real voices).

But Diana Canova can SING.

diana canova is incredibly talented and unjustly underrated. i loved her on "soap" and i hate sony for not including her image on any one of the show's season box sets, i mean c'mon she was one of the lead characters for crying out loud!
